この曲集は私が設計、製作している12弦の小さな金属弦ハープ、アルト (G4-D6) のために編纂しました。アイルランドやスコットランドなどのケルト音楽と英国、スペインやギリシャ等の音楽が333曲集まりました。クリスマス音楽も多数収録しています。全曲中75曲は『20弦ハープで奏でる366の曲集』(2022) には未収録です。
本書では14種類の調弦法を使います。曲は調弦順に並んでいます。美観を損なうダンピング記号や指番号は記していません。ダンピング技法については拙著『初学者のための金属弦ハープ教本』(2020/23) を参照してください。装飾音は各人のセンスでつけたり外したりしてください。
この本を手にされた方に、小さな金属弦ハープの魅力と奥深さを知ってもらえたらと願っています。
